Inspired by the eyes of a dragonfly, Micro Lens Array(MLA) creates a pattern with 5,117 micro lenses per pixel for a total of 42.4 billion over which OLED is applied, allowing the internal lights to come out of the screen to achieve a groundbreaking level of brightness.

In the span of just one year, Micro Lens Array+(MLA+) has improved with an optimized lens angle that improves light efficiency and delivers more powerful performance.

Just as a dragonfly has an unlimited 360-degree view of the world through its millions of compound eyes, MLA+ presents a wider viewing angle(160°) of all existing TVs, allowing you to enjoy intricate details on the screen at any angle.

a Smart Brightness
Enhancing Algorithm

META Multi Booster is an algorithm that precisely analyzes brightness information and makes adjustments in each scene so OLED devices can express peak brightness accurately even when areas of peak brightness in the image increase.

By incorporating the inherent self-emissive characteristics of OLED with MLA+ and META Multi Booster, we increased peak brightness by 42% to 3,000 nits*, and improved color brightness by 114% up to 1,500 nits*.

Detail Enhancer
for Better
Picture Quality

Detail Enhancer articulates subtle differences in natural brightness through pixel dimming for both light and dark areas to achieve richer expression.

Using dithering technology for every pattern position based on OLED pixel dimming technology enhances color accuracy and widens color gamut while delivering images with full-range HDR detail, accurately representing objects with distinct colors, true to the creator’s original intent.
